Set up Booking Restrictions

Your Admin can set up who can book the hotel desks such as everyone, department, workplace group, or a combination of both. This is a global setting.

Note: When this setting is turned off and displays No Restrictions, then everyone can book the hotel desks. 

From the SiQ Web App, complete the following.

  1. In the top-right corner, click your username and then click Settings.
  2. From the left menu, click Desk Booking Settings.
  3. For Booking Restriction, click CHANGE to expand your booking restriction settings.

4. Select from Department, Workplace Group, or Dept/Workplace Group Interaction:

  • Department - This option only allows an employee to book a desk designated for their allocated department. 
  • Workplace Group - This option only allows an employee to book a desk designated for their allocated workplace group. 
  • Dept/Workplace Group Interaction - This option allows an employee to book by a Dept and/or Workplace combination. This option is only available if both Department and Workplace Group restrictions ON.

When you're done, click CLOSE to save your changes.
