Manage Assets

Assets are a type of attribute associated with spaces such as pieces of equipment or features. For example, sit-stand desk, ergo chair, dual monitor, conference phone, or handicap accessible.

Manage Assets is where you can:

  • View and search your assets
  • Add or delete assets
  • View, add, or delete employees and spaces associated with an asset

Assets can be added from either Manage Assets or directly from the floor map. See: Update Space Assets to learn how to add assets to spaces from the floor map.

This article will show you how to manage assets from the Manage Assets section.

Find Assets

Assets List

From the main menu, click Manage and then click Assets. Here you'll find a complete list of assets found in SiQ.

To find an asset either scroll down the asset list or in the Search field enter the asset name.

You can sort your assets list in ascending or descending order.

Click on a column heading:  Asset Name, Employees Associated, or Spaces Associated.

Add an Asset

From Manage Assets, click the + New Asset button.

In the Name field, enter the asset name.

Click the Create button.

Delete an Asset

You can delete an asset from the assets list or an Asset Details dialog.

From the asset list, hover over an asset name, then click the X icon to the right of the asset.

Or you can click on an asset name to display the Asset Details Dialog. Then, click the Delete icon.

Click the Yes button to confirm the deletion.

Employees and Spaces Associated with an Asset

Assets can be associated with employees and spaces. For example, multiple employees may need Ergo Chairs at their workspaces. On the Assets Details dialog, the employees with Ergo Chairs will be listed under Employees. Some company hoteling desks may be equipped with an Ergo chair. Those spaces will be listed under Spaces.

To add an employee, click the + Employee button, or to add a space, click the + Space button.

Remove an employee or space, select an entry and then click the X icon.

You can remove employees or spaces in bulk. Select multiple entries and then click the Remove button.
