Its time to organize the floor map and seat and unseat employees.
- Navigate to the Floor Map
- Find an Employee and assign a Seat
- Find a Department and assign Seat(s)
- Unseat an Employee
- Unseat Multiple Employees
- Unseat Shared Seating Assignments
- Unseat an Employee with another Employee
- Move an Occupied Seat
Navigate to the Floor Map
From the main menu, click the Floor Map icon .
- You can only drag an employee’s seat to locations where seats already exist on the Floor Map. You’ll first need to add the required Seat(s) to create a whole new seating area.
Find an Employee and assign a Seat
To seat an employee(s) on the Floor Map, click on the Unseated icon to open a list of employees who currently don’t have seats OR use the Search field to find employees by name.
Then drag and drop the employee’s name to the seat to assign.
Find a Department and assign Seat(s)
If you have a department that needs to be seated together, then you can quickly find the department and then seat the employees in the same area.
In the Search field enter in the department's name. From the results, then drag and drop the employee's name to the seat to assign.
Unseat an Employee
To unseat an employee, simply click and drag them from the floor map towards the bottom left corner. You will see the question mark icon in the corner change to a unseat icon.
Unseat Multiple Employees
A faster way of unseating multiple people at once is to hold shift while you left click on them. Then in the Data Drawer, scroll all the way down to the Occupancy section where you will see the Unseat All button.
Unseat Shared Seating Assignments
If the person is assigned to a shared desk, secondary desk, etc then you can't use the drag and drop method to unseat them.
To unseat them, click on the person , then scroll down on the data drawer to the right until you find Assigned Employees . There, click on the small 'x' next to their name  to unseat them.
Unseat an Employee with another Employee
When there is a seat occupied with an employee if you drag another employee to that occupied Seat, you will Unseated the previous occupant.
Then you can locate that unseated employee in the Search Bar or in the list of Unseated employees to re-seat them.
Move an Occupied Seat
Another way to move an already seated employee is to simply drag the Seat icon from one location to another . When the drag-and-drop move is complete, you’ll see a notification at the bottom of the screen . Click Undo  if you need to reverse the move.
